Don DuRousseau is the Director of Research Computing at the University of Arkansas Fayetteville. He has more than 25 years of scientific research and development experience in signal processing, data informatics, cyberinfrastructure and cybersecurity. He was responsible for operation and growth of the 100-Gig Capital Area Advanced Research and Education Network (CAAREN) and Capital Region Advanced Cyber Range (CRACR) at George Washington University in Washington DC. Don led the development of several HPC/HTC clusters at GWU and established an high-performance (100 G) Edge HPC cluster for cybersecurity research at the Equinix demark in Ashburn VA. He has a long history of sponsored research and is an NSF Principal Investigator with expertise in cyber-physical ranges and advanced cybersecurity education and training platforms. His current work involves relationship building and broad dissemination of future research technologies and infrastructures through local and regional academic and industry partnerships to deliver high speed connectivity, managed data services and technical expertise to the Research and Education communities across the State of Arkansas and beyond.
